Text Books are Expensive

I forgot how expensive textbooks are. I registered for 2 classes for this summer and for one class I need only 1 book, but the other class I need 4 books. 5 text books that I will need to read within 1 month. Yikes. I ordered them all already (as class starts on May 11) and have the syllabus from one of the classes. I am already beginning to think I may regret going back for additional certification.

Yes. I buy on half.com all the time, but these text books are newer (2004 & 2005) and don't have older editions. On both half.com & ebay the prices were the same as amazon & Barnes and Noble (except the latter has free shipping with $25). I was able to use ebates for 3% back for the 2 from bn.com.

But I normally check half.com & ebay, and even Froogle before buying anywhere else.

My books for ONE summer class are going to cost me $200. And that's with me photocopying the five chapters I have to read from one book instead of buying it.

Ok - I guess I have nothing to complain about, as I have never paid that much for one book. I think the most I paid was $80 and that was before half.com was around.
