Phew.....
Xmas letter is written. Cards filled out. Envelopes addressed and mostly stamped. It always seems I have more cards to send than stamps. Oh well, I got some sent out and will have to get to the PO to get more (another thing to procrastinate.)
You know - more people must be slacking on the xmas card thing this year, as I have only received 4 so far. I know it's early yet - but I used to get more earlier. Maybe people are procrastinating, or maybe I got axed from xmas card lists. I know I axe people if I sent them card 2 years in a row and got nothing back. Dammit. If I send you a card, I expect to get a card back and if you can't spend a lousy 37 cents on a stamp then I can't either. It's not that I am a bah-humbug about it, it's that every year we meet new people and the list gets longer and longer and there has to be a way to weed people out, because otherwise by the time I am 70 I will be nearing 1000 people (ok, that may be an exaggeration, but maybe not.)
